Continuing Medical Education
The Section of Hospital Medicine Continuing Medical Education (CME) series offers bimonthly CME lectures to hospitalists on core topics relevant to the group. Hospitalists at University of Chicago care for patients with complex specialized medical disorders including liver, lung and kidney transplants, multiple myeloma and lymphoma. The CME series provides an opportunity for collaborating specialists to present relevant didactics. The Section of Hospital Medicine runs journal club for the internal medicine residency program and these sessions are adapted and presented to the hospitalists as well. Hospitalists present several of the CME sessions and these are some of the most popular and best-attended.
